Overview:
Forma Agency is a fashion and lifestyle creative agency producing brand content, campaign direction, and digital strategy for emerging and established labels. Their work was visually striking and their client list was growing but their website was holding them back. Built on a basic template with slow load times and a rigid layout, it couldn't keep up with the energy of their work or the expectations of the high-end clients they were pursuing. They needed a site that felt like an extension of the work itself bold, fast, editorial, and completely in their control without needing a developer for every change.

Challenges
The technical requirements were demanding. Forma's portfolio contained high-resolution images and video content that needed to load fast without compromising visual quality. Their previous site regularly scored poorly on performance metrics, which was affecting both user experience and search visibility. On the design side, they had very strong opinions about aesthetics which was a strength but it meant the design process required careful facilitation to channel that taste into something functional rather than purely expressive. Animations and interactions also had to feel intentional rather than decorative, which required building and testing multiple versions before landing on the right approach.

Conclusion:
We delivered a fully custom Framer site with optimized media loading, smooth scroll-linked animations, and a CMS-powered portfolio that Forma could update entirely on their own. The layout used a strict editorial grid that gave the images room to breathe while maintaining strong typographic hierarchy throughout. Load times dropped significantly from the previous site. The team reported that client meetings now often started with a comment about the website before the work was even discussed which is exactly what a great agency site should do.
