Summery

Overview:
Confection Co. had been operating as a local sweet shop for years with loyal foot traffic but no digital presence worth speaking of. When they decided to expand into premium retail and e-commerce, their existing brand bright colors, clip art style graphics, and an outdated website was actively working against them. They approached us needing a complete transformation that would allow them to sit confidently next to established premium confectionery labels without losing the warmth and personality that made their product special in the first place.

Challenges
The biggest challenge was repositioning without alienating their existing customer base. Their loyal local customers loved the approachable, friendly aesthetic. Moving too far into cold minimalism would have felt like a betrayal of what made them beloved. On the technical side, they had no structured brand guidelines, inconsistent packaging across product lines, and a website built on an outdated platform with no CMS. Every product update required a developer. The visual inconsistency across their touchpoints web, packaging, social, in-store signage made them look like three different businesses.

Conclusion:
We delivered a complete brand system that balanced premium positioning with warmth. The new identity used a refined color palette deep chocolate tones with cream and gold accents paired with an elegant serif wordmark that felt indulgent without being cold. The website was rebuilt in Framer with a full CMS, allowing the team to update products, seasonal collections, and promotions independently. Within the first month of the rebrand launch, Confection Co. secured their first premium retail partnership and saw a 40% increase in online orders.
